Knightdale is joining many municipalities across the US and North America in celebrating our Public Works Department and those who make this Town tick. In honor of the Knightdale Public Works Department, Mayor James Roberson and Knightdale Town Council proclaimed Knightdale's observance of National Public Works Week between May 20th and May 26th.
Today, we highlight Knightdale's Public Works Storm Water crew. In between picking up leaves, maintaining the parks, maintaining the Knightdale buildings, patching potholes, and many other jobs that assist in keeping Knightdale great, these guys also work on drainage throughout town. The team helps clean up washout, and mitigates water issues before they become larger, helping residents ensure their property is safe. A picture is worth a thousand words.
