The Knightdale Development Services Department is your one-stop shop for all residential and commercial permit needs within the Knightdale town limits and extraterritorial jurisdiction. All building and trade permit requests are submitted via the Wake County Permit Portal.
The following forms may be required with permit submittals:
- Permit Amendment Form: English | Español
- Add, Remove, Change Contractor Form: English I Español
- Owner Exemption Affidavit
- Workers' Comp Affidavit
You must notify the Knightdale Planning Technician of any forms or plans uploaded to the Permit Portal. Please do not notify Wake County staff as indicated on the forms.
