On September 16, 2020, Town Council voted to approve the Zoning Map Amendment and Master Plan/Planned Unit Development for a mixed use project at 7630 Knightdale Blvd, north of Knightdale Station Park and Knightdale Station Run. The approved Master Plan includes 195 multi-family units across two buildings and a 12,000 square foot retail/office building. The site includes a number of improvements for current and future residents, including the construction of a new public street directly connecting Knightdale Blvd and Knightdale Station Run, to emulate the design seen on Knightdale Station Run. Additionally, pedestrian plazas are provided throughout the site. Rectangular Rapid Flash Beacons will be installed at the crossing on Knightdale Station Run to enhance pedestrian safety.
