Originally approved in 2013, the Knightdale Station neighborhood consists of 611 single-family homes on 251 acres and the 192-unit Cottages at Knightdale Station multi-family site, adjacent to Knightdale Station Park. So far, 285 single family homes have been built/permitted. Home construction is complete in Phases 1, 2, and 3, and is actively taking place in Phases 6 and 7. Site work is taking place in Phases 4 and 8 and home construction is anticipated soon.
This project also features 27 acres of land dedicated to mixed-use developments, and is currently home to Thales Academy, Knightdale Station Preschool, and the YMCA pool. Future plans include a new YMCA facility and more commercial development.
