The Stanley Cup is making a special stop in Knightdale! Residents and visitors are invited to join us for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see the legendary Stanley Cup up close and celebrate this iconic symbol of sports excellence.
With only 90 minutes to share the Stanley Cup, we want to create an enjoyable experience for as many people as possible. To help us do that, we will offer 50 group photo opportunities during the event.
Bring Your Crew!
We encourage you to gather your family, friends, neighbors, or fellow Canes fans and register as a group. Groups of approximately 5 to 10 people are encouraged to take their photo together so we can accommodate as many people as possible.
Registration is first come, first served. When registering, you will be asked to provide the names of everyone in your group. This will help us prevent multiple registrations from the same group and allow more Canes fans to participate.
Registered Groups: Please Arrive Early
If your group is one of the 50 registered photo opportunities, your entire group must arrive by 10:15 a.m.
If your group arrives after 10:15 a.m., we cannot confirm that you will have an opportunity to take a photo with the Cup.
Come Experience the Stanley Cup!
Even if you are not one of the registered groups, we encourage you to come out and celebrate! You will still have the opportunity to see the Stanley Cup in person and take your own photos of the Cup from the designated viewing area.
We appreciate your understanding as we work within the limited 90-minute timeframe to make this special visit available to as many Knightdale residents and Canes fans as possible.
The accessible parking lot will open at 9:30 am. To access Accessible Parking, present your handicap placard to the parking attendant to be allowed into the accessible parking lot.

- Street Parking on Knightdale Station Run (any spaces without cones)
- Knightdale Station Park soccer field parking (near YMCA pool)

The following items ARE allowed: lawn chairs, bag chairs, blankets, and personal coolers (without alcohol).
The following items are STRICTLY PROHIBITED: tents, lawn umbrellas, alcohol, personal grills, and fireworks.
All other park rules and Town ordinances apply.

Parking & Arrival
- All parking areas are paved and include designated accessible parking spaces.
- Large special events may have a designated accessible parking area; please refer to the event map for details.
- Accessible paved routes connect parking areas to primary park amenities and event spaces.
Entrances & Pathways
- All entrances and shared-use pathways throughout the park are accessible and paved.
- Accessible paved sidewalks with curb cuts provide connections between major amenities, including parking areas, event spaces, pavilions, and restrooms.
Facilities & Restrooms
- The park amphitheater (main event space) is a grass lawn that is generally level and accessible at grade from the Wilder Plaza Pavilions or sidewalks closest to the amphitheater stage.
- Concrete benches, without back support, are provided at the front of the amphitheater closest to the main stage. All other seating in the amphitheater is lawn seating; visitors are encouraged to bring their own chairs or blankets.
- Permanent, accessible restroom facilities are located in three areas of the park:
- Wilder Plaza Pavilions/Amphitheater
- Splash Pad/Playground
- Soccer Fields (closest to Soccer Field #2)
- For events using portable toilets, accessible units will be provided.
- Accessible drinking fountains are located outside all restroom buildings.
- Please note: drinking fountains are winterized seasonally and may be unavailable during winter months.
