Knightdale Veterans Memorial

The Knightdale Veterans Memorial will be dedicated on Veterans Day, Sunday, November 11th, 2018 at 1:00 PM.  It will be home to the Knightdale Blue Star and a Gold Star Memorial, honoring those who have served and died for our country, and located in the heart of Knightdale Station Park.

None of this would be possible without the support of the Knightdale Two Green Thumbs Garden Club.  They graciously agreed to relocate the current Blue Star Memorial from the corner of Main St. and 1st Avenue in Downtown to it's new home at the Knightdale Veterans Memorial.  The Two Green Thumbs also agreed to apply and received Gold Star Status for the new Veterans Memorial allowing Knightdale to have one of the first Gold Star and Blue Star memorials in North Carolina.

General Dan K. McNeill will be Keynote Speaker with Renee Chou from WRAL as Emcee for the event. You will also hear from Mayor James Roberson and Town Council of Knightdale, Two Green Thumbs Garden Club, the National Garden Club, Reverand Dr. James Utley, and Pastor Adrian Dixon.
