This is a fantastic idea and would be a welcome addition to the downtown Knightdale area. I grew up in Knightdale and while I now live in Wendell, I find myself in Knightdale nearly every day still. Keeping this home and repurposing it, rather than bulldozing it for the sake of a chain restaurant or new building is exactly what Knightdale needs to preserve its charm and character. The local farm to table aspect of the restaurant is an added bonus and will help create the unique downtown that so many people would prefer to see Knightdale become.

YES PLEASE!!! Knightdale is in sore need of more independent owned restaurants. The chain options are few (was disappointed that Panera Bread fell through), but every other small town around us have had a great growth of independent food places while Knightdale has remained stagnant. Knightdale’s motto is “Start Something”. But that has not happened.

I honestly don't even know where to start, I am so excited at the thought of a local, farm-to-table restaurant being located in the heart of Knightdale! We have so many food options in town, but we are in desperate need of a local option that will source locally and support our local community while also providing a wonderful dining experience. We are in desperate need of healthier options instead of more fast food chains. The location of the property is perfect - families coming and going from the park can stop for a meal, and this prime location should help bring the restaurant new customers it will need to survive. I know my family will certainly be regulars at this restaurant, and we will bring visiting friends and family as well. We cannot wait to have this historic house transformed into a local gem!

I am in favor of this restaurant and take how the board approves it for our community! We would love to have a local focused restaurant to go to!

Many Knightdale residents, as am I, are excited to hear of this proposed new eatery. One void Knightdale has is the lack of entertainment for every age group, toddler to senior. A location like 608 will provide that much needed date night location for our busy working moms and dads. Also,608 May help to fill another void in Knightdale with healthier food options and options for people with dietary restrictions like gluten sensitivity. Vegan options would be very popular as Knightdale residents who are vegan must travel outside of Knightdale to purchase a truly vegan meal. Thank you.
