Experience the magic of the season at Knightdale’s Christmas Parade! Enjoy festive floats, marching bands, local performers, and a special appearance by Santa himself as the holiday spirit comes to life along the parade route. It’s a joyful celebration for the whole family!
The parade begins on First Avenue near Knightdale Station Run and ends on First Avenue just before Smithfield Rd.
General parking will be available in the areas surrounding First Avenue. Please follow all posted signage. Towing will be enforced.
Street parking on First Avenue and Knightdale Station Run will be closed, and all Knightdale Station Park parking lots along Knightdale Station Run will be closed. The Knightdale Station Park lots closest to the playground will be open for general parking, with one lot reserved for accessible parking.
Accessible parking will be located in the upper lot near the playground on Wilder Nursery Trail. Once this lot is full, attendees will need to use general parking. The best route to access the accessible lot is via Robertson Street to Keith Street to Poplar Street, then turning onto Wilder Nursery Trail.
Knightdale Station Run beginning at 7:00am
First Avenue from Knightdale Station Run to Smithfield Road beginning at 9:00am
Maple Street beginning at 9:00am
Roads will remain closed until the streetsweeper is able to run after the parade.
Street parking on these roads will not be permitted beginning overnight Friday.
Feel free to bring your own chairs but please refrain from bringing any tents or umbrellas. All shade structures are prohibited.
