The Town of Knightdale is grateful for those who bravely answer the call to serve our country and recognize the sacrifice they make to ensure our protection and freedom. As a town, we strive to honor our local veterans, along with their families, by offering programs, services, and events that give thanks and pay tribute to these remarkable individuals.
Knightdale currently offers two programs dedicated to recognizing military veterans: the Hometown Hero Military Banner Program and the Veterans Memorial. The Hometown Hero Military Banner Program aims to recognize living Knightdale veterans. The Veterans Memorial honors Knightdale veterans who have passed away.
