The Town of Knightdale will be using a contractor to resurface the section of Laurens Way starting at Tallula Lane and ending at East Cameo Dr. This project begins on July 9th and should be completed by July 12th weather permitting.
The work will consist of milling and resurfacing the asphalt surface as well as a number of repairs to utilities such as manholes, water valves and some subsurface items. Please note the following:
- The working hours for the project will be 7am-7pm.
- For the duration of the work one lane will be closed and traffic flagmen will be on location. For your safety, and the safety of the workers and other drivers, please obey all signs and signals from the flagmen.
- NO ON-STREET PARKING is allowed during the duration of the project. Due to lane shift and heavy equipment operation, the Town will enact a No Parking and Towing Ordinance during the project, which will be in effect 24 hours per day, as per NC G.S. 160 and Town Code Title VII, Chapter 72.
