Public Works Week Spotlight: Jason Eubanks

Knightdale is joining many municipalities across the US and North America in celebrating our Public Works Department and those who make this Town tick. In honor of the Knightdale Public Works Department, Mayor James Roberson and Knightdale Town Council proclaimed Knightdale's observance of National Public Works Week between May 20th and May 26th.

Baseball FieldToday, we highlight Knightdale's Ground Maintenance Supervisor Jason Eubanks for his efforts at Knightdale Community Park.  Jason and crew work tirelessly at Knightdale Community Park, meticulously grooming the baseball fields to ensure residents and visitors have top quality ball fields to play on. This includes picking up litter, mowing, and cleaning the occasional act of vandalism.  Jason and his crew are the guys who make us proud of our baseball fields, and many other areas of Knightdale.  Jason is also one of the best turf stewards we know of, ensuring there is beautiful grass in many public areas all over Town.  Jason is a true servant of the people, and we want to thank him for all that he does!

National Public Works Weeks (NPWW) is a time to celebrate the tens of thousands of men and women in North America who provide and maintain the infrastructure and service sand many other aspects, this small but strong and dedicated group makes sure everything works for you.

National Public Works Week is observed each year during the third full week of May. Through NPWW and other efforts, APWA seeks to raise the public's awareness of public works issues and to increase confidence in public works employees who are dedicated to improving the quality of life for present and future generations.
