The Knightdale Fire Department will be extending Fire Prevention Week, originally October 4th through the 10th, to last the full month of October.
The Fire Department's primary mission is to educate the public and prevent injury and fires throughout the service district. Though Fire Prevention Month will look a little different this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Fire Department wants to ensure they provide fire and injury prevention information to residents of Knightdale and the surrounding area.
Throughout the next four weeks, they will be conducting non-contact fire safety information distribution through their "Touch-Free Mobile Open Houses". The events will be held at the locations listed on the flyer below.
