Jimmy (J.K.) Harrison proudly served in the US Air Force and was stationed in Guam. After serving in the military, he worked as a police officer for the city of Raleigh, where he retired after 30 years. He was the Treasurer of the Knightdale Chapter of the American Legion and an active member of the Raleigh Police Club.
