Knightdale Finance Director, Tim Flora, supervises the Town’s financial operations and reporting of all municipal funds including budget, audit, cash management, and debt management in compliance with state law.
Mr. Flora has been with the Town of Knightdale since May 2019. He has nearly 20 years of government experience, including almost 15 years in county and municipal governments. While he has spent much of his career in finance-related positions, other experience includes information technology, account management, business administration, and public affairs. He has two master’s degrees, one in Public Administration and another in Accounting. His undergraduate degree is in journalism. Tim is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, and Certified Government Chief Information Officer.
