Summer and Track Out Camps

Summer Camp:

Summer Camp Prices: Prices are per week. There is NO daily rate for Summer Camp.
Adventure Camp (5-7 Year Olds, Knightdale Rec Center) - $100 Weekly
Explorer Camp (8-10 Year Olds, Knightdale Rec Center)  - $110 Weekly
Quest Camp (11-13 Year Olds, Community Pool & Clubhouse) - $125 Weekly

You do not have to register your child for all 9 weeks to participate in Summer Camp. If your child is in a school with a non-traditional schedule, Track-Out Camp will also be available during the summer, though Track-Out students can attend Summer Camp.

Locations:

Quest camp is located at the Knightdale Community Pool and Clubhouse. Adventure Camp and Explorer Camp are located at the Knightdale Recreation Center.

About: A summer of fun is in store for children ages 5-13 (age as of 6/01/2016 cannot exceed 13). The camp is divided into three groups: Adventure for ages 5 to 7, Explorer for ages 8 to 10 and Quest for ages 11 to 13. These camps offer a wide variety of activities including kid fit, art, theatre and karate, as well as indoor and outdoor recreation activities. Campers will visit the pool, enjoy presentations by guests, go on weekly field trips and take part in special camp wide parties. Camp ages are as of 6/01/2017. Five year olds must have attended Kindergarten during the 16-17 school year.

Camp and Payment Information:

Cost:  Camp is $30 per day.  A $5 deposit per child/per day will reserve your spot in camp.  The balance must be paid online or at Town Hall prior to the child arriving at camp.

Credit:  If your child will not be attending camp on a specific day, you must provide email or voice confirmation to Michelle Wester by 8:30am on that day.  Any requests for credit after 8:30am will not be accepted. Credits will be issued to your account. There are no cash or credit card refunds issued.

Who may Attend:  K-8th Grade - Students in Kind. must complete 9 week of school at the beginning of the school year before attending Track Out the first time.

Inclement Weather:  Check the Parks and Recreation website, Track Out website and local news media for closings or delays.

Track Out Camp Daily Operation:

Hours of Operation:  7am-6pm

Things to Bring: Students must bring 2 snacks and a lunch each day unless otherwise noted on the weekly calendar.  Lunch should be packed without the need for a microwave or refrigerator.
