Knightdale Parks, Recreation and Cultural Programs is pleased to announce the following new programs launching this Summer/Fall for the community:

Plus50 - Wake Tech Acrylic Painting 

Calling all budding artists!  The Knightdale Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to introduce an acrylic painting class for our adult population!  Wake Tech will be teaching this course at the Knightdale Recreation Center every Monday morning from 10:00-12:00 beginning September 10, 2018 and running through October 15, 2018.  Registration is $30.00 for the six week course.  

Free Fit at the Park

Join us at Knightdale Station Park on Tuesday evenings for a free 8 week fitness program.  Knightdale Parks and Recreation is excited to partner with Arise Athletics to bring you this free fitness class that will include yoga, dance, pilates, and barre-bootcamp.  Classes will be from 6:15-7:15pm on Tuesday evenings beginning September 11, 2018 and wrapping up on October 30, 2018.

Summer Feeding Program

In partnership with the Wake County Public School System, the Knightdale Parks and Recreation Department will be providing free meals to children this summer.  Every Wednesday from 12:30-1:30pm at the Knightdale Station Park Picnic Shelter meals will be served to children 18 and under on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Program will end on August 8, 2018.

Youth Athletics - Tennis

The Knightdale Parks and Recreation Department is thrilled to announce our first Tennis Academy scheduled to start in July 2018.  Through our collaboration with the Raleigh Tennis Association, we will offer 6 tennis lessons to children ages 8-14.  $40 registration fee includes a racket and towel.  Lessons will be on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
