Pickup Days
- Wednesday: Downtown, Wil-Ros, Myrick Downs, and Parkside
- Thursday: Planter's Walk, Mingo Creek, Princeton Manor, Maplewood, and Pebblebrook
- Friday: Emerald Pointe, Magnolia Place, Edenburgh's Keep, Carrington Woods, and Widewaters
Yard Waste
Yard waste items are any vegetative matter including grass, leaves, limbs, etc. Items must be bagged or bundled and a yard waste sticker applied. Bags and bundles must be forty pounds or less and no more than four feet in length. Yard waste stickers are required for disposal. These stickers are $.50 each and can be purchased at Town Hall.
Special Pickups
Waste Industries will come to your home and make special pickups of such items as old furniture, "white goods" such as stove and refrigerators, construction debris and other bulky items. You will be charged up to $25.00 (more for very large loads) for the pickup. To arrange this service, contact Waste Industries directly at 662-7100.
Spring Cleanup
Each year the Public Works Department holds its Spring Cleanup. During this time citizens may dispose, free of charge, yard waste or other items that may require special pickup. This years spring cleanup starts
Wednesday April 28th and finishes up Friday May 9th. |
