The Town is seeking photos to use in its new website.
People, Places, Things, any picture that is
representative of Knightdale. If you have some
good pics to share with the community, please send in
digital format to
jeff.triezenberg@knightdalenc.gov. Your
participation is appreciated, and the new site should be
ready this spring.
NEW Baseball and Softball Registration.
Ages 9-15 Softball and 9-17 Baseball registering at the
Parks and Recreation Office, Town Hall through January
30th. Residents $35, Non-Residents $50. Ages
4-8 Registration begins February 1 and ends February
15th. Call 217-2230 or hit the Parks and Rec. Link

At their January 18th meeting, Town Council made the
following Committee appointments: Land Use
Review Board: Dan Froelich, Archie Hart and
Doug Taylor. Old Town Oversight Committee:
Angie Paul, Pete Mangum, Cathy Meeler, Brian Mountcastle
and Billy Wilder. Parks and Recreation Advisory
Board: Michael Snow, Angie Strickland and Mark
Vardy.
NEW Two WCPSS registrations sessions for new
students have been scheduled for eastern Wake County on
Saturday, February 18th. They are at the Zebulon
Community Center at 301 S. Arendell Ave. from 10 am - 12
pm and at the East Regional Library in Knightdale from
1:30 - 3:30 pm. Parents will need the child's
birth certificate, proof of residency such as a utility
bill, a photo ID and the child's immunization record..
NEW Knightdale 100's next Forum will be "State of
Knightdale Schools" with Wake Education Partnership's
Tim Simmons on January 26th from 7-8:30 pm at the Town
Hall.

UPDATE EFFECTIVE 9/6/2011:
The Duke Raleigh Hospital Park & Ride in Legacy Oaks has
been relocated to the Wal-Mart parking lot along McKnight
Drive. Express Commuter Bus Service now runs M-F from stops on Village
Park Drive near Rex and McKnight Drive at Electric
Avenue along with the new Wal-Mart Park & Ride. (Route
map and
Schedule).
The
Town of Knightdale budget for FY 2011-2012 was
adopted in June.
